Last week I highlighted Irene McMullin's paper "A Modest Proposal: Accounting for the Virtuousness of Modesty" from the latest issue of The Philosophical Quarterly (October 2010). Today I posted what I hope will be the first of many posts on modesty at my Psychology Today blog, inspired by her paper.
